Southern California Quarterly Call for Papers

Southern California Quarterly seeks high quality papers for review and possible publication.

Areas of particular interest include:
  • California, local, and Western history
  • City and regional development
  • Resource management
  • Racial and ethnic issues
  • Religion and culture
  • Social and political history
  • Arts and media
  • Food and agriculture
  • Popular culture
Submitted articles are expected to be well-researched, thoughtfully argued pieces that reach well beyond a descriptive narrative of a historical event or biographical sketch.
Authors are asked to review Southern California Quarterly’s author guidelines prior to submission.
